Free is a plan here.
Not a countdown.
No card, no expiry. Premium takes away the ads and the clock, and it covers every device you sign in on.

Free and Premium use the same tunnel, the same nodes and the same countries. Most VPNs hold features back to make free hurt. We hold back exactly two things: the ads and the clock.

It is the same app on either plan: connected, finding a node, and switched off, where red means you are exposed and green means the tunnel is up.

ConnectedThe app shows the IP you were given.
ConnectingNodes ranked by latency, fastest first.
Not connectedRed means exposed. Green means protected.
How the billing actually works.
Two ways to pay, one subscription
Buy here by card and Stripe processes it. Buy on the paywall inside the app and Apple or Google bills you instead. It is the same Premium either way, and it attaches to your account, not to the shop you bought it from.
Your card stays with the processor
Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page, never on this site and never in our app. We store your subscription status and nothing about your card. Apple and Google work the same way for in-app purchases.
Manage it where you bought it
Card purchases are managed on youraccount page: change card, switch plan, cancel, or ask us for a refund atsupport@phantomvpn.site. In-app purchases live in your App Store or Play Store settings, and only the store can refund those.
One subscription. Every device you sign in on.
Premium is attached to your account, not to a device. Buy it once on your phone and it is already active on your Mac, your iPad and your Android phone the moment you sign in. There is no seat count to manage and nothing to deactivate when you change device. Buying on Apple and later signing in on Android works, because the account, not the store, carries your status.
Pricing and billing, answered
Does the free plan ever expire?
No. The free plan has no end date and no trial clock. You start with 0 minutes and earn 60 minutes each time you watch an ad of at least 30 seconds, up to three ads a day, with a ceiling of 300 minutes in a day. Minutes are counted while you are connected, so time you do not use is not spent. You can stay on the free plan for as long as you like.
What happens when the free trial ends?
The trial rolls into the paid plan automatically. Premium Monthly gives you 3 days free and then bills $9 a month. Premium Yearly gives you 7 days free and then bills $59 once a year. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged, and you keep Premium until the trial's last day. If you do nothing, whoever took the payment charges you: our payment processor if you bought here by card, or Apple or Google if you bought in the app.
I bought Premium on this website. How do I use it in the app?
Install the app on any device and sign in with the same email you used here. That is the whole process. Premium is attached to your account, so it unlocks the moment you are signed in. There is no code to enter, no receipt to upload, and nothing to buy a second time.
How do I cancel Premium?
Wherever you bought it. If you bought here by card, open your account page on this site and use Manage billing, which lets you change your card, switch plan or cancel. If you bought inside the app, cancel in your store account instead: on iPhone, iPad or Mac open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions; on Android open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge. Premium keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops back to the free plan.
How do refunds work?
It depends where you bought. If you bought here by card, write to support@phantomvpn.site and we can refund it ourselves. If you bought inside the app, Apple or Google took the money and only they can give it back: use reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or your order history in the Play Store for Android. Their policies decide the outcome there, not ours. Either way, if something about the app is broken, tell us first and we will try to fix it.
Is there a device limit on Premium?
No. Premium is attached to your account, not to a device or a seat. Sign in on your iPhone, your iPad, your Mac and your Android phone and Premium is already active on each of them. There is no per-device count to manage and nothing to deactivate when you replace a device.
Do I need an account to pay?
Yes, and to use the free plan too. Signing in with an email one-time code, Google or Apple is required, so accounts are not anonymous. The account is what carries your minutes and your Premium status between devices, and it is how your purchase is restored when you sign in somewhere new. We store the email on your account and when you last signed in.
Try it on the free plan first.
No card to enter. Watch one ad and you have an hour on the network.
